By the Numbers

When we were in school, we talked about changing the world. We listened to Neil Young at Port Williams and imagined how it was going to be different when we were in charge. Well, it's different alright and although those dreams seem a cruel joke after all of these years, I want to explain something that you all may not understand, at least not yet.

There are so many people running as Republicans in this race, I don't need that many votes to win the primary, compared to most races.
I went to school with 400 people. If they each got 2 friends to vote for me, more is always better, that is 1200 people. Include the people I know from WSU, from my book sales, from my campaign, from teaching and living, I would put that at around 20,000 people. If every one of those people voted, along with a lot of the veterans and people who are dying for a change, easily, I can carry the primary race with around 100,000 votes.

After the primary, the incumbent is so unpopular, a large enough majority would keep her and the corruption ridden DNC from spending their money on this election.
Now, each and every person reading this and maybe a few others who are eligible to vote in Washington State have a chance to influence Washington DC. I am not beholden to any corporations, only the people who put me in the Senate. Please remember that when you fill out that ballot.

We will never have the opportunity to send a kid from Sequim to the US Senate, at least one who knows what it's like to kick it to Freebird at the Agnew Grange. No matter what your personal opinions or your beliefs, whether you have voted or not voted before. Whether you agree with what I am proposing or not, this chance will not come again. I never asked anyone for anything, but I am asking every person reading this to fill out that ballot and mail it in with the person you think is going to make your life better in the US Senate. Please fill out that ballot, please put a stamp on it or put it into a drop box. Now is your chance to make a real difference. For the rest of your life you can say you helped get a great Senator for Washington State elected. It doesn't get any better than that.

Also-I'm still working on getting Pearljam for V Party.
