In the second installment of Books in Heinessight author Matthew Heines discusses his book the Rainier Paradigm. In the broadcast Matthew Heines compares the reality of life in the Northwest with the supposedly fiction of his hot selling book. Discussing the geology and geography of Seattle as well as the social and demographic realities of an overcrowded Pacific Northwest is a recipe for disaster. But the Rainier Paradigm is not only a great disaster novel, it is also amusing and offers great insights into the life and culture of the Pacific Northwest.

A Friend Saw Me on the Ballot and Made a Post on Facebook

From a post on my Facebook page-
Yep, it looks like a lot of people are filling in Matthew D Heines on that ballot as well! Thanks for noticing Kevin! I have been campaigning for months now and I have managed to get my message across the state, in spite of a virtual media blackout on the race and the Republican candidates. Having never run a campaign before, I think my popularity is based upon my message and my attempt to bring people together. People are really scared about our education system, immigration, debt and our future. I have emails and phone calls coming in daily in support of what I am doing and their support with a vote, or votes. What people are just beginning to understand it is not I who is going to win this race, it is we who are going to win this race and we are going to begin to give the future back to the next generations of Americans that was promised them. Everyday I am campaigning I am getting support from everyone. People of all backgrounds and creeds wave at me and show me the victory sign. This is about working Americans. This is about our lives and our future. We cannot be replaced by cheaper labor. All American Lives Matter. If you agree, vote for me.

By the Numbers

When we were in school, we talked about changing the world. We listened to Neil Young at Port Williams and imagined how it was going to be different when we were in charge. Well, it's different alright and although those dreams seem a cruel joke after all of these years, I want to explain something that you all may not understand, at least not yet.

There are so many people running as Republicans in this race, I don't need that many votes to win the primary, compared to most races.
I went to school with 400 people. If they each got 2 friends to vote for me, more is always better, that is 1200 people. Include the people I know from WSU, from my book sales, from my campaign, from teaching and living, I would put that at around 20,000 people. If every one of those people voted, along with a lot of the veterans and people who are dying for a change, easily, I can carry the primary race with around 100,000 votes.

After the primary, the incumbent is so unpopular, a large enough majority would keep her and the corruption ridden DNC from spending their money on this election.
Now, each and every person reading this and maybe a few others who are eligible to vote in Washington State have a chance to influence Washington DC. I am not beholden to any corporations, only the people who put me in the Senate. Please remember that when you fill out that ballot.

We will never have the opportunity to send a kid from Sequim to the US Senate, at least one who knows what it's like to kick it to Freebird at the Agnew Grange. No matter what your personal opinions or your beliefs, whether you have voted or not voted before. Whether you agree with what I am proposing or not, this chance will not come again. I never asked anyone for anything, but I am asking every person reading this to fill out that ballot and mail it in with the person you think is going to make your life better in the US Senate. Please fill out that ballot, please put a stamp on it or put it into a drop box. Now is your chance to make a real difference. For the rest of your life you can say you helped get a great Senator for Washington State elected. It doesn't get any better than that.

Also-I'm still working on getting Pearljam for V Party.

Washington State Senate Candidate Declines Republican Endorsement

In a surprise move, Reform Republican and US Senate Candidate Matthew D. Heines has informed the King County Republican Party that he is not seeking their endorsement, and he might not accept it after winning the primary.
In an email to Republican Party Headquarters, US Senate Candidate Matthew Heines stated:
“I am not looking for an endorsement. As I as said before, I am trying to incorporate as many people as I can into my platform and I am afraid a Republican endorsement this early would kill my campaign through the exclusion of Bernie Sanders supporters, union workers, college students and the poor.”
Senate Candidate Heines left open the possibility of an endorsement after the primary by further adding:
“Once I win the primary, you are welcome to endorse me or not endorse me as you see fit. I am going to win this election, with or without the Republican Party.”
When asked why he was not seeking, nor would he accept the Republican endorsement so early in the campaign, Heines, an author, a teacher of twenty years and a veteran of the US Army’s 82ndAirborne Division, explained that winning Washington State as a Republican is not going to be easy, thanks to the demographics of Seattle.
According to Heines, the Democrats have imported as many potential voters as they could since the Obama presidency. If it weren’t for immigrants, the poorly educated and the people who enrich themselves off of the poor, the Democrats wouldn’t have a party in Washington State.
US Senate Candidate Heines is betting that the millions of people who have flocked to Washington State recently, in a White Flight migration similar to that of the Okies leaving the Dust Bowl during the Great Depression, are angry, scared and they are going to vote for the person who is going to give them the best deal. Matthew Heines thinks his Real Deal is just what the doctor ordered for Washington State’s body politic.
“When I’m out campaigning, people of all races and backgrounds look at my Real Deal and they can’t believe I’m a Republican. When I tell them I’m a Reform Republican, they pause and say, ‘that’s okay.’ I have found nothing but anger and animosity towards Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray in Washington. People are tired of being embarrassed by those two charlatans. They have no leadership skills, no plan for the future and they’re led by the noses by corporations and their private donors who think they can buy this election like they tried to buy the 2016 election. I’ve got bad news for them. This is going to be a recall election and it is going to be a landslide in my favor.”
Matthew Heines is proposing a drastic reduction in government spending through cuts in specific programs, a humane and reasonable immigration policy that takes into account American national security and public safety first, free college tuition paid for by the sale of marijuana and a complete restructuring of our public school systems. His Real Deal can be seen on his website heines4senate.com.

Letter to the Kitsap County Republican Party

Greetings Kitsap County Candidate Committee,
I am truly honored by your interest in my candidacy. I am quite interested in your endorsement as well and I wanted to explain to you that I just have not had the time to complete the tasks on your questionnaire, but will do so within the next few days.
That being said, I will need every vote in Kitsap County, not just Republican, but all in order to send the message to Washington that we in this state are serious about debt (national and personal), immigration and the importance of a real education and skills training system as the most important national security issues we are facing today.
If you are opposed to the 12 measures of my Real Deal, and I suspect there are those in the party who will be, I will not feel personally insulted if you withhold or withdraw your support. My goal is not just to win, but to get these changes implemented immediately. In order to do that, I must cross the party boundaries on issues like drug policy and decreasing the demand for illegal labor etc, higher wages, unions, etc.

The Real Deal 12 Ways We Make Americans Great Again
1. Forbid US Government Borrowing
2. Free Tuition at Public Universities
3. Legalize Marijuana Use Profits to Pay for Free Tuition
4. DACA Amnesty in Exchange for a complete Immigration Freeze
5. Smart Labor Cards for Migrants Attached to Employer Bank Accounts
6. Mandatory Sentences for Hiring Undocumented Workers
7. Establish English as US Official Language
8. Break Up Tech Monopolies/ Defund Deep State Surveillance Platforms (Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Twitter)
9. Include Asians, Jews, Arabs and Caucasians as Affirmative Action and Protected Classes
10. $20 Minimum Wage at +500 employee corporations
11. Restructure Public Schools and allow Viable Alternatives to Parents
12. Establish the United States as the World's Education Nation

My goal is to leave behind an America that is more free, better educated and hopefully more intelligent, more civil and more conscientious of our place in the universe. With this new perspective, our other problems will work out themselves.
I know that might require some new thinking.
I will support, protect, defend and promote the Constitution and the rights and the betterment of our people, and not corporations or lawyers, in every decision I make.
If you have any ideas, objections or input, please let me know.

Thank you for your time and consideration,

Matthew D. Heines

US Senate Candidate Matthew Heines Writes a Letter to Elon Musk

Dear Mr. Musk,
I am running for the Senate in Washington State as a Reform Republican. I support everything you do. I am not asking for anything. I am going to try and win this with the support of everyone but the DNC, course. If we are to survive, we must redirect our energies toward the exploration of space and unite man in the discovery of the universe. Where would we be now if we had directed our energies after WW2 to the discovery of space and not a completely wasteful arms race and cold war? We might have colonized at least one far off planet by now. The immediate cost benefits of mining helium 3 are just one example of how we get people interested.
What I need is to know what you need. Nothing else. I am sure I can win this and start to change the country to a society of scientists, thinkers, engineers and educators. Let's get to the stars. If we don't start now, I'm afraid we won't have the resources to try again. Please educate me as to how you think we go to the stars and please explain to me what it is that inhibits you from your wildest space exploration dreams. I am looking forward to working with you if the voters of Washington State decide the pathway of knowledge and light is the path best traveled.

Yours,

Matthew

Maria Cantwell’s Opponent In Senate Race Veteran, Teacher, Author Matthew Heines Rejected From Hometown Parade

Sequim, Washington

In the peaceful little town of Sequim, Washington, the majestic Olympic Mountains swallow the winter sun and strip the clouds of Pacific rain. Like a gentle, sleeping giant, they keep the formerly picturesque farming town free from the frequent downpours that mark its neighbors to the west. During the short summers, hot days are marked with brilliant hues of green and blue as throngs of tourists elbow their way past town toward adventures, sunburns and mosquito bites in the Olympic National Park.

The town was able to hold on to its uniqueness for many years, but in the last two decades, thanks in part to the success of books by author Matthew Heines, who once "haunted" the streets of the town, people in Hollywood discovered Sequim. Now the politics of have gone from small town America to a one-party rule where the liberals from California have used their money and their influence to do what they are doing to the rest of Washington State, turning it into a welfare entity and liberal crime ridden cesspool, just like the place from which they fled.

“To highlight the town’s newfound ‘attitude,’ according to Heines, “They won’t even let me, one of Sequim High School’s graduates, a veteran, a teacher, an author and now a United States Senate Candidate; participate in Washington State’s oldest festival. You tell me that’s not mean spirited, something you would expect in Hollywood, not small town Washington.”

“It’s changed into a town where, if you haven’t ‘made it’ and live in a multi-million dollar house and hobnob with the rich and support their liberal causes, you don’t really matter-you’re just one of the deplorable locals, to use DNC terminology. It’s the New World Order. To keep me out of their parade, I was told a number of different things.”

“Only elected officials-this was decided some time ago.”

“It’s a small town gathering.”

“The oldest festival in the state is a small town gathering?”

“It’s too big already-it’s five hours.”

“There is no room for my campaign classic Toyota pickup with banners on the side?”

“You missed the deadline.”

“If they had told me this at first, I would have said okay. But it was one of the last excuses they gave me.”

“There were so many reasons, it almost seemed like they came from a manual on how to keep people out of their parade.”

Matthew Heines looks at his laptop and sighs before he begins to write.

“Historically,” he says, “parades in the US were for the purpose of uniting people in the community and giving access to political candidates when there were no such things as pictures, television, and the Internet. I don’t have have the millions of my opponent who has had twelve years to run her Senate seat as a business and can afford to put whatever image her handlers want in the public eye. I am back in the frontier days. I need to be in parades. I need people to see my beautiful Indian wife, and the humble circumstances in which we have been forced to live because we are trying to get her citizenship, we are doing it the legal way, and we have to be here in misery for three years. As we see at the border today, my opponent has made it much easier to come across the border illegally, get citizenship and then go on welfare, than to do it the legal route. I am going to change that in a hurry.”

Matthew Heines looks at a message on his phone. It’s from his wife. When I ask, Heines says she is happy and proud he is running for the Senate.

“I need America to see what the immigration issue is really about, along with the rest of my twelve item agenda.”

“Because I don’t want to be a slave to corporate interests, I am not asking them for money. How else am I going to get publicity but to participate in public events?”

“Yet, the people who run the public events say if you aren’t rich, you can’t participate in Democracy. It’s a Catch-22. There is no way for people who came from disadvantaged environments to get the kind of support to get elected in today’s political environment. Or, at least it is nearly impossible.”

“I’ve spent all my life doing what people told me was impossible, so this doesn’t seem a whole lot different. I just feel bad for people out there who are hoping someone like me will come along, but have never heard of me. It’s a race against time to make sure the entire state of Washington knows there is hope out there. There is a candidate who will fight their fight. They have to know I am running,” Heines says, his eyes lighting up as if there was something personal in his statement that led him further than he wanted to go. With the primary elections just 4 months away, the clock is definitely ticking.

After the interview, wishing to get a comment on the affair, I contacted Maria Cantwell’s office in downtown Seattle. A spokesperson there said they didn’t have an opinion on the matter. I then contacted her office in Washington DC to find out if she has plans to attend the Sequim Irrigation Festival Parade, the one Matthew Heines cannot enter as a Senate Candidate. According to her office in Washington DC, she has no plans to attend the event at all.

When informed of this, Matthew Heines, future United States Senator from Washington State simply laughed and said, “It figures, doesn’t it?”

Matthew Heines for United States Senate "Enough is Enough" Press Release March 29, 2018

My name is Matthew Heines. I am an author as well as a teacher. I am announcing my candidacy for the United States Senate seat up for election in the First Congressional District in Washington State August and November. I am running as a New Republican.

As a veteran and a teacher, I have spent a lifetime serving my country both here and overseas in some dangerous places. I refuse to let the current leadership in our country continue to turn our nation and our state into a dangerous place.

I am running as a New Republican, but really as an old one. I run as Abraham Lincoln once ran. I am a poor backwoods country type trying to save this nation from the ignorance and strife brought on by the media and the government. I have never been one to sit around and complain. I do something when I see something wrong. It’s why I am running for the U.S. Congress.

My campaign is a simple one. It is just twelve points to stop our skyrocketing debt and keep our children from inheriting a life of debt slavery in a security state where fear, violence and terror accompany them wherever they go. I won’t give any campaign speeches per se, rather, I would like to hear what people have to say about my twelve point plan.

1) Forbid US Government borrowing.

2) Legalize marijuana-end the war on drugs, poor whites, Hispanics and African Americans.

3) Use the profits from the sales of marijuana to cover the cost of tuition at public universities and trade schools.

4) Twenty dollar an hour minimum wage in companies with +500 employees and a guaranteed living wage for our workers instead of million dollar bonuses for CEO’s.

5) Immediate issuance of Labor Cards to undocumented workers, DACA residents.

6) Labor Cards are attached to an employer’s bank account for foreign workers to cover municipality, state and federal costs of education, social services, criminal activity etc. When the labor card is no longer valid, the employer will ensure the employee’s departure from the U.S.

7) With obvious exceptions, all U.S. Government business will be conducted in English. We have no need to pay an army of interpreters because of a lot of bad people making worse decisions for money.

8) Anyone responsible for hiring illegal aliens and creating dangers to our communities will receive a mandatory five-year prison sentence.
9) Permanent national immigration freeze until a national moratorium (vote) can be conducted on the immigration issue.
10) Incorporate Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana into African American controlled federal territories where African Americans can live free of white culture, pressures, corruption and influence. African Americans will design their own political, justice, learning systems, communities and societies based upon their own wants, needs and desires. Dr. King talked about the Promised Land. I believe it’s time we talk about what is justice and I believe giving the land that holds the bones of three hundred years of dead African American Saints to their grandchildren begins to address the topic of that justice.
11) File anti-trust lawsuits against media, cable, social media and tech firms whose business practices are predatory and who are discriminatory. Provide funding for alternative sites to the present social media, tech and media platforms.
12) Abolish affirmative action and government sponsored racism in hiring, education and in the conduct of government business.
It is my firm belief that if we implement these measures immediately, we will begin a journey that will take us to a better place, a better nation and a better world based upon enlightenment, tolerance, science and reason. It will help our children make decisions to study engineering not the history of pottery because they are afraid to fail. It will put the best and brightest at the front of our technological teams. It may take generations to change our thinking but we can be the new pioneers, can’t we?
If not, we for sure will be the old ones.
